Spinach Soup For Weight Loss
Ingredients
1 tsp ghee
1 small stick of cinnamon
1 bay leaf
4 whole cloves
3 cloves of garlic
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cups spinach
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
1/2 cup hot water
Instructions
Heat one teaspoon of ghee in a soup pot. Add the bay leaf, cinnamon and cloves. Sauté for one minute, until the aroma starts to rise. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for a couple more minutes, until the onion turns transparent. Now add the chopped spinach. Sauté it for 5 more minutes until the leaves shrink and the raw smell goes away. Now remove the cloves, bay leaf and cinnamon stick and puree the rest smoothly in a blender. Add 1/2 cup of hot water and reheat over a medium flame. When it comes to a boil, remove from the stove top, add salt and pepper to taste and serve hot.
This soup is super healthy. It’s low in calories and cholesterol and is good for brain health and weight loss. Enjoy!

Of course, green leafy vegetables do help in increasing Hb in blood. In addition include citrus fruits, peas, dried beans – which are sources of folic acid. Include iron rich foods like lentils, cereals, whole egg, meat etc in diet. Include herbal spices like mint, basil etc in diet. Always keep an eye on the Hb count, if experiencing any dizziness and lethargy, consult your doctor.
